Placing an interlibrary loan request via Gateway Bayern

Go to Gateway Bayern and start your catalogue search.

  • Click on the title you would like to request
  • Click on “SFX (ILL and further services)”, select a library location as your pick-up location (for example “Main Library”)
  • Log in with your user number (028…) and password; if necessary, set a latest date of delivery and/or a preferred edition
  • Submit your request

  • Please check your search terms and for typing errors
  • Go to the tab “Additional services”, then to “Interlibrary loan” and select your home library
  • Log in with your user number (028…) and password; if necessary, set a latest date of delivery and/or a preferred edition
  • Submit your request

Please note (when selecting “Economic and Social Sciences Branch Library” (WSZB) or “Educational Science Branch Library” (EZB) as pick-up location):

Please fill in the name of the chairholder in the field “Lehrstuhlinhaber/Kostenstelle” (department chair/cost centre) only if you are an assistant or doctoral student at the respective department.

Please note (when selecting “Science and Technology Branch Library” (TNZB) as pick-up location):

Please fill in the (abbreviated) name of your chair/institute in the field “Lehrstuhlinhaber/Kostenstelle” (department chair/cost centre) if the fee for articles requested via interlibrary loan is covered by your chair/institute.
