There are various options available to help authors manage references and create bibliographies. Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) offers all members the opportunity to download the reference management programs Citavi and EndNote free of charge via a campus licence. You can learn about the advantages and disadvantages of these programmes in one of the University Library’s courses.
FAU and the University Library support open access in principle and financially. You can make your publications available permanently via OPUS FAU.
The Research Data Management Unit supports you in publishing research data and advises on data management in funding applications. These services are accompanied by training courses on the basics of scientific data management.
On behalf of FAU, the University Library runs FAU University Press. The aim is to provide a quick and low-cost way of publishing and distributing selected papers by members of the University in digital form and in print form if desired.
The doctoral theses services offer support for researchers publishing their doctoral theses.
