During periods of intensive library use, the University Library offers long-term lockers in the following branches:
- Main Library
- Science and Technology Branch Library (TNZB)
- Economic and Social Sciences Branch Library (WSZB)
Simply Borrow the Keys or the Locker
You can borrow a key at the circulation desk of your preferred library location, or borrow the locker directly from the Economic and Social Sciences Branch Library for six months. You can check the loan period in your library account and renew it once there.
For the long-term lockers at the Economic and Social Sciences Branch Library:
Please also bring a large padlock. Padlocks that are too small will not engage the locking mechanism and are not secure.
If all lockers in the Main Library or the Science and Technology Branch Library are already taken, you can reserve a locker online through the catalog. To do so, search for the term “long-term lockers.”
Our Rules
Before using the locker, please check to make sure it is clean. If you have any complaints, please contact the respective library.
What is not allowed in a long-term locker?
- Items not currently checked out
- Open beverages
- Perishable food items
Please return your key or locker on time to avoid receiving a fee-based reminder to return it.
If you lose your key or damage the lock on your locker, we will replace the lock at your expense.
