The University Library provides you with a suitable environment for studying so that you can prepare for your next exam. Using the Learning Room Navigator you can find your favourite spot, no matter whether you prefer to work in a group or by yourself, whether you are looking for a study space in Nuremberg or in the libraries in the south of Erlangen, in the Main Library or one of the many departmental libraries.

At the Main Library and in the Technical and Natural Sciences Branch Library all members of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) have the option to reserve study spaces up to seven days in advance. The reservation system enables you to select and book a desk in your desired timeframe.
Please note that in the Library Law (02JU) admission of non-law students can be restricted during times of heavy demand. Please also use the alternative study spaces at the departmental libraries in Bismarckstraße and Kochstraße.

To guarantee that all library patrons can work in a concentrated and undisturbed manner, there is a code of conduct for FAU libraries. You can find these rules and regulations on notice boards in the respective libraries. Eating is not permitted in the study areas of all libraries, drinks may only be brought in sealable containers.
