New system for internet workstations in the university library

The internet workstations in the University Library are being renewed: the terminals are being replaced by PCs. When the system is changed, data stored under “My Documents” can be transferred to the new server via script.
However, settings for the Firefox and Edge browsers are stored in the user profiles, which cannot be transferred automatically. Instructions in German explain the procedure for transferring the bookmarks.
The roll-out of the new PCs will start in the Main Library on 18 July 2022, after which they will be installed in the other locations.
