The Enter Award is a nationwide prize for Open Access, awarded for the first time in 2024, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and implemented by iRights.Lab. The trophy for the Enter Award 2024 in the infrastructure category goes to the DeepGreen project.

DeepGreen is an automated delivery service for Open Access journal articles, which are delivered from publishers to institutional and subject repositories. The Cooperative Library Network Berlin-Brandenburg (KOBV), the Bavarian State Library (BSB) and the University Library of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) are responsible for the project. 13 publishers and 86 repositories are currently participating and more than 100,000 articles have already been distributed to repositories.

The University Library is very pleased about the award.
