Can I extend the lending period when it comes to interlibrary loans?
If you can or cannot extend your lending period, depends in these cases on the library that sent us your book. If the lending library agreed to such procedure in general, you can extend the lending period via the catalogue.
How can I extend the loan period of borrowed media?
Log in via the Account/Renewal tab within the catalogue with your UB-ID number and password. The account balance shows all borrowed media. You now have the possibility to extend the loan period of individual items or to renew the entire account. Please note that you can only renew media ten working days before the loan period ends.
Please note: Extensions are always made subject to reservation. Should another library user reserve one of your items during the renewal period, the loan period can be shortened. In this case you will be informed in writing.
