Funding for open access will change as of January 1, 2026: The funding cap for Open Access publishing fees of €3,000 gross will be applied to articles originating from DFG projects. Additionally, the subsidy will be lowered to €1,400 for all papers. Be vigilant regarding the quality of journals—the Open Access Department is here to advise you!

Thanks to the support of the Universitätsbund Erlangen-Nürnberg the University Library was able to add a work by Georg Wolfgang Knorr to its collection. The two-volume work “Delices de la Nature,” printed in Nuremberg in 1779, features 91 hand-colored copperplate engravings of birds, shells, etc.
