Terms in DBIS
CD-ROM-Databases
The university library also offers access to a large number of CD-ROM databases in all subject areas via the Database Information System (DBIS). In most cases, access to the databases is available via the university’s network or locally on an individual workstation at the various locations of the university library. However, a few CD-ROMs are not installed locally or in the network and can be loaned via the catalogue.
You can limit your database selection to CD-ROM databases by selecting the database type “CD-ROM/DVD-ROM” in the Advanced Search.
