Long Night of Writing

The worldwide campaign “The Long Night Against Procrastination″ is dedicated to academic writing once a year – always on the first Thursday in March.

Library Night

On 4 April 2025, during the first nationwide Library Night, libraries across Germany competed to shine brightest! The motto was “Knowledge. Share. Discover”, around 4,300 events took place in over 1,800 libraries, attracting more than 250,000 visitors. We are already looking forward to the second nationwide Library Night on 23 April 2027! year – always on the first Thursday in March.

Long Night of Science

The date for NdW27 has been set! On Saturday 23 October 2027, the focus in Nuremberg, Fürth and Erlangen will once again be on science and research!
