To help you focus fully on your research, FAU offers services to support you with data management so you won’t get lost in the maze of research data. The University Library provides extensive training and consultation on data management plans, data publication, and grant applications.

Advice on Research Data Management (RDM) in Grant Proposals

If you want to find out in advance if your funding agency has specific FDM requirements, the overview on forschungsdaten.info is a good place to start.

Assistance with the Development of Data Management Plans (DMPs)

  • In accordance with the requirements of external funding bodies such as the EU or the Volkswagen Foundation, as well as for project management 
  • Introduction to the RDMO DMP Tool

Support for Publishing and Archiving Research Data

  • Get help finding the right repository. If you’d like to search on your own, you’ll find a selection of popular repositories on the FAU CDI-GitLab.
