The following rules apply to most of the study spaces:
- Apart from water in re-sealable clear bottles no food or drink is permitted.(Exceptions)
- Jackets and bags are permitted. (Exceptions)
Booking a study space
To help plan their time at the library, university members can reserve study spaces in the Main Library, the Technical and Natural Sciences Branch Library and the Economics and Social Sciences Branch Library.
The reservation system allows users to select their preferred times, set up reminder emails and automatically enter reservation times into a calendar.
Reserved spaces must be confirmed on site at the respective workstation by scanning a QR code. Otherwise, the booking will be cancelled and the space can be reserved again.
Individual desks can be reserved for a maximum of six hours, with up to three bookings per day. Group bookings can be made for a maximum of three hours, with one booking permitted per day.
Reservations can be made at least one week in advance.
