Good News: New Furniture for Individual and Group Work in the Departmental Libraries in Erlangen

The University Library has used study grant funds to purchase various pieces of furniture that make working in the departmental libraries easier. You will find the new group work furniture and the electronically height-adjustable work tables primarily in the departmental libraries with long opening hours.

The new furniture for group work has been installed in the American and English Studies (07AM/EN, Tower C), Medieval and Modern History (06MI, Kochstraße 4) and Education, Philosophy and Psychology (04PA, Tower A) departmental libraries.

Back-friendly working is now possible in many branch libraries. You can borrow laptop holders, laptop cushions and mouse/keyboard combinations from various departmental libraries. The opportunities created in this way, especially for working in groups, have significantly improved the quality of the space and the working atmosphere in Erlangen’s departmental libraries.
