Exhibitions

The University Library Erlangen-Nürnberg (UB) sees presenting its valuable treasures to the public as one of its tasks.
The library regularly takes part in action days such as the International Museum Day and the Open Monument Day, in order to give all citizens an insight into the cultural heritage.
In addition to the treasures from two medieval monastery libraries and one of the largest special natural history libraries of the 18th century, the UB also displays its collections such as graphics and coins.
