07AM/EN and 07RO closed due to construction work during semester break

During semester break (5 August to 11 October 2024), the distribution boards in tower C at Bismarckstraße 1 will be replaced. The construction work will also affect the departmental libraries for American and English Philology (07AM/EN) and Romance Studies (07RO), which will therefore be closed during this period.

During the closure, the following conditions apply for the collections of both departmental libraries (07AM/EN and 07RO):

  • Loans: All items borrowed from 22 July onwards are not due before 17 October 2024.
  • Returns: Books which are due during the closure period can be returned to the Departmental Library for Education, Philosophy and Psychology (04PA) in Bismarckstraße 1 (Tower A, Room 201).
  • Interlibrary Loan: Books that are only available in the departmental libraries 07AM/EN and 07RO can be ordered via interlibrary loan.
  • FAUdok: Starting 1 August up to and including 14 October 2024, FAUdok orders for the holdings of the 07AM/EN and 07RO libraries are not possible.
