Carl Friedrich von Siemens Foundation Funding Renewed

The Carl Friedrich von Siemens Foundation has renewed funding for FAU Library in the fiscal year of 2022/2023, awarding €400,000 in grants. As a result, the overall funding for FAU provided within the last eleven years has now reached a total of €4.4 million.

These appropriated funds will be used for purchasing reference books and textbooks needed by students in particular. The University Library will use the funds primarily to update and expand the textbook collections in the Main Library, the Science and Technology Branch Library, the Economic and Social Sciences Branch Library and the Educational Science Branch Library.
